Do you think Eugene Yu is secretly running Hongzheng Technology? Or, perhaps, could Yu be secretly running Konnech, a voting technology company in America, for the CCP?

TRANSCRIPT:

On October 4th, Michigan police arrested Eugene Yu, the CEO of a U.S. election software company named Konnech, for storing the personal data of American election workers on servers in China. The day before, a New York Times article identified Yu's subsidiary company in China, “Jinhua Yulian Network Technology,” a company “where programmers developed and tested software.”

In a 2013 archived version of the Chinese company’s website, Yu praised the vision of "Comrade Jiang Zemin" and the Chinese Communist Party before bragging in Chinese about his success with "Election Management Solutions Detroit" and "U.S. Overseas Voters." Konnech founded its Chinese subsidiary in November 2005 and its only known employee is a supervisor named Lin Yu.

In 2015, Konnech transferred a voting technology patent invented by its employee Shao Guojun, to a Chinese election company named Hongzheng Technology. On Weibo – a Chinese app like Twitter – this third Yu-related company wrote that "its predecessor "Jinhua Yulian Network Technology Co., Ltd." (Konnech., Ltd) was established in November 2005."

On that same Weibo page, Hongzheng Technology features text in Chinese characters below the official seals of Washington D.C., Detroit, Michigan, St. Louis, Missouri, and other U.S. counties. Hongzheng technology is the #1 voting technology provider for China's National People's Congress.

The company partners with Huawei, China Telecom, and China Unicom, two of which are now sanctioned by the U.S. Hongzheng Technology's founder, Lin Yu, owns 99.4% of the company and has the same name as the sole Yulian Network employee. Shao Guojun, the Konnech employee who transferred a patent to Hongzheng Technology in 2015, is also a co-founder of the company.

Another co-founder named Jun Yu shows up on a 2012 Konnech patent, with none other than Shao Guojun and Eugene Yu. In 2015, Eugene Yu even registered Hongzheng Technology's website hongzhengtech.cn to his personal email address admin@konnech.com.

Do you think Konnech CEO Eugene Yu is secretly running the CCP's #1 voting technology company Hongzheng Technology? Or, perhaps, could Yu be secretly running Konnech, a voting technology company in America, for the CCP?

Little confused. I thought Yu was arrested in LA, not Michigan. Please clarify. I am testifying at a Allegheny County (PA) Board of Elections meeting on Oct 24th, as a follow on to my month's earlier testimony about Konnech and PollChief, used by Allegheny County, where I am a poll worker. I had asked the BOE to find an American vendor for its poll worker software.
